2026 EIP Committee Goals

Legislative:

Election Worker Leadership training for both parties:  EIP will train Future Election Worker Leadership for both Parties:

  • We have already a MOU with the NCRP: they will provide human resources; we will provide training: Educate on laws and process and procedure utilizing the SOS Election Advisory Material.
  • Two Saturday trainings TBD: Either January 17 and 24th or 24th and 31st or 31st and Feb 7th.
  • I have not been able to reach the NCDP, so I will try again.

The President will be scheduling a training to educate our Membership on UOCAVA and Move Act of 2009.

  • Time TBA
  • Purpose is to get a committee started to write a legislative amendment to separate the two voter types and improve the verification of voter process and other things.   This will be a grassroots effort to get the US House and Senate and the White house to make these changes

The President will be scheduling a training on how to write and get legislation passed and on the state calendar for approval   TBA

Spring Luncheon at the Capital for the purpose of educating legislatures, introducing ourselves and creating important relationships to further Election Integrity Causes.

Voter Roll Maintenance:

  1. Continue monitoring and removing recently deceased Voters
  2. ELLY: introduce a new application called ELLY to the VR’s office in 2026. ELLY will probably replace TPA in 2026.
  3. MOVED out of the County/State mailing campaign to get voters removed from the Voter Roll, not just put on SUSPENSE.
  4. Need a permanent mailing location such as a PO Box for EIPNC.

Commissioners' Court:

  1. Continue with the relationships with the commissioners, county judge and their staff.   This relationship provides us with personal notification of votes and agenda issues EIP will want to be made aware of.
  2. CDF has asked to come alongside our committee to grow their relationship with the commissioner’s court.
  3. Continue to push for the passage of the CASS Coding Accuracy Support System eliminate and/ or minimize returned VUID and mail in ballots.
